Employment: Denmark to scrap excise duty on soft drinks
Denmark is to scrap its tax on soft drinks in a move that reverses legislation first introduced in the 1930s.
Removal of the tax, which will pave the way for more jobs and growth, will take place in two stages, with a 50 percent cut from July 2013, and its scrapping from January 2014.
