The A.P. Moller Foundation has granted DKK 40 million to a special entrepreneurial professorship at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) with the objective to create an environment for entrepreneurship. The foundation has never before granted money for operating expenses. Opulentus Denmark Denmark is in need of ideas, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship. That is why CBS in Copenhagen and the A.P. Moller Foundation have joined forces to establish an actual education focusing on good entrepreneurship. According to plan, the first students will start in spring 2014.   With the grant to finance salaries and operating costs in a CBS department, the A.P. Moller Foundation is taking another step closer to become a more active player in the development and support of Denmark's competitiveness.   Over the years, the commercial foundations and in particular the A.P. Møller Foundation has been criticized for their secrecy. Now new legislation, which is expected to be stricter, is on its way. As a result, a number of commercial foundations have changed strategy and are increasingly involved in funding specific educational and research purposes.   Source: CopCap
