Danish Minister Visits Asian Countries to Lure More Tourists

Danish Minister for Business and Growth Mr. Ole Sohn visited China, Singapore and other major Asian countries to sign strategic cooperation agreement to strengthen tourism ties. At a meeting with Chinese and Danish tourism operators, Mr. Sohn said that “We already offer many Chinese tourists welcome to our country, and the figure is increasing every year. Meanwhile, Danish tourism to China has grown. Tourism between our countries not only creates business advantages. Tourism is also one of the most important tools to improve understanding between our cultures. This is of great importance in a globalized world. I can assure you that the Danish Government attaches great importance to tourism and our longstanding relationship with China.” The minister also met National Tourism Administration of China to make significant efforts to increase tourism between the countries.  Tourism from BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) countries has already crossed the number of tourists from USA and other European countries. Denmark tourism board has sanctioned many airlines to run direct flights from Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark. Government believes that increase in accessibility will help to attract tourists from Asian regions. Top Attractions of Denmark are the Tivoli Gardens, Legoland, Aalborg zoo, Mermaid statue, Ribe and the Borreby Castle. Denmark Schengen Visa allows you to visit Denmark and stay there for 90 days.
